Nox-Rust 9800 VCI liquid is a ready to use, water-soluble volatile corrosion inhibitor (VCI)
It is designed to protect the interior metal surfaces of enclosed spaces such as turbines, heat exchangers, boilers, tanks, piping systems, heating and cooling systems.
The soft, self-healing film protects metal surfaces during extended periods of equipment inactivity, such as during storage or lay-up.

With Nox-Rust 9800, removal is not required. No degreasing or stripping is necessary because the thin, protective film dissolves on contact with water or steam traveling in the system once it is put back in use. There is no build-up or residue so the liquid is suitable for use in the steam path in power plants and in other critical areas.
For use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals including steel, silicon steel, stainless steel, cast iron, zinc, copper, brass and aluminum. The specially engineered corrosion inhibitor prevents corrosion on metal surfaces in both the vapor and contact phases and will not discolor aluminum or non-ferrous metals.
Nox-Rust 9800 is fogged or sprayed into turbines, pipes, tanks and enclosed systems. No special interior surface preparation is required as the VCI will find and protect hard-to-reach areas is necessary.
It is used for the corrosion protection of turbines during periods of inactivity or mothballing & lay-up of heating, cooing and boiler systems.
